History

My name is Dick Munson. Me and my wife Janice opened our shop in 1993. Since then we have been proud to serve the wonderful people of Vancouver, Washington and elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest. We would like to thank each and every one of our customers who have used our business and have been supportive by referring relatives and friends to use our services.

Since we rely on word-of-mouth advertising, we avoid the temptations and methods of deception I see so common in the automotive industry. As a consumer, you need to be aware of scams, cons, and rip-offs in the automotive service and repair business. Many businesses sell you more than you need only to increase their profits. Our philosophy at Munson's Automotive is if we wouldn't recommend a service or repair to our Moms and Dads or loved ones, then we won't try to sell it to you. We will take good care of your car as the factory recommends (no more, no less) and use factory parts (not cheap substitutions).

We are very blessed to have developed relationships with some of the nicest people in the Vancouver area. Many of our customers have turned into long-term friendships. Many of our customers have several Honda's and Toyota's in their families and will buy nothing else because they have a service center they can trust and depend on.

There are many things we perform as a courtesy to our customers for free labor. This includes retrieving engine codes, replacing headlight, tail and brake bulbs, wiper blades, and much more.
